As the name suggests this bar is not just light, it is Hyperlite. At just 125g when you first lift the bar you may wonder if the 8oz bicep curls you've been practicing all quarantine have paid off. And while that may be true, don’t let it distract you from the fact that this thing is stupid light.

**Update 10-2-24 **
Reduced rating from 5 star to 3 star because I was sent an email from Hayes that if I submitted a review they would send a $10 discount for a future order but I haven't received the discount, I have sent multiple emails and called but no responses. Poor marketing /customer service strategy**

ProTaper carbon flat bars are the best bars. Looks amazing, I get a lot of compliments on the styling and dang these things are scary light!

Just got a new bike but I have had their previous generation carbon bars since around 2010ish. Still using those so these things last!!
