A very good (better) alternative to the thru bolt system, because of the 12 mm diameter in the middle of axle. With this axle system it is possible to drive the newer axle systems on the wheels with 12 mm diameter in the old open frames. Stability of the system is very much better than quick bolt system with 10mm diameter!!!
I think it’s pretty nice that this is available and should work nicely for my application,it should be much stiffer than using a qr skewer and the qr end caps. You can even use this bolt on thru axle with a skewer if you want to. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because it doesn’t come with the proper 135 x12 mm end caps,they should be included with the the bolt because the don’t come with the hub.
