Basata sull’eccezionale JUNIT Expert, la versione Pro offre un ulteriore livello di regolazione grazie alla tecnologia IRT (Infinite Rate Tune). DORADO AIR

Il sistema a molla Dorado Air Manitou contiene un'esclusiva valvola di bilanciamento che equalizza le camere d'aria positive e negative durante il processo di riempimento dell'aria. In questo modo si ottiene una sensazione di coerenza della molla senza punti morti o piatti nella corsa, oltre ad offrire a rider di peso diverso la stessa sensazione di corsa iniziale.

IRT

L'Infinite Rate Tune (IRT) consente una messa a punto avanzata della molla regolando in modo indipendente le pressioni dell'aria all'inizio e alla fine della corsa. La tecnologia IRT crea una molla d'aria positiva secondaria che influisce solo sulla corsa centrale e finale della forcella. Questo permette di impostare la molla ad aria principale a pressioni più basse per migliorare la sensibilità sulle piccole asperità, mantenendo il sostegno a metà corsa e una rampa di accelerazione moderata o aggressiva a fine corsa.

Messa a punto per Bambini

Il nostro ammortizzatore ABS+ in dotazione a questa forcella è specificamente messo a punto per i giovani ciclisti. Grazie all'ampia gamma di regolazione della compressione, gli utenti possono regolare facilmente l'ammortizzatore indipendentemente dallo stile del percorso che li attende.

Fantastic youth specific fork

Fantastic fork which came stock on my 8!yr olds Commencal MetaHT 24” bike in 120mm travel format. Out of the box it was super stiff which was alarming, but fitting a shock pump revealed it came set at 70psi, whereas a 25% sag setting for my 25 kg 8 yr old meant a 32psi setting and then it’s plush, low stiction Travel is revealed. Watch out too for the common online highlighted problem of poor shock performance with no travel under heavy loading if you don’t sceew on your shock pump really firmly….if it’s not fully on you don’t get the positive/negative chamber equalisation and the fork seems fubared……seems quite a few have been caught out by this! Can’t wait for my little ripper to get the measure of his new bigger bike and the amazing performance potential the manitou fork has to offer, especially coming from a previously rigid 20” bike!

The Manitou Dorado Air spring system contains a unique balancing valve that equalizes the positive and negative air chambers during the air fill process. This gives the spring rate a consistent feel without any flat or dead spots in the stroke, along with giving riders of different weights the same initial stroke feel.

IRT (Infinite Rate Tune)

Infinite Rate Tune (IRT) allows for advanced spring tuning by independently adjusting air pressures in the beginning and end stroke. IRT technology creates a secondary positive air spring that effects only the middle to end stroke of the fork. This allows the main air spring to be set to lower pressures for improved small bump sensitivity while maintaining mid-stroke support and moderate to aggressive end-stroke ramp-up.

Our ABS+ damper included with this fork is specifically tuned for youth riders. Featuring a wide range of compression adjustment, users can easily dial in their damper no matter what style trail lays ahead.
