As soon as I saw, Reynolds had come out with a new black label road wheel set I immediately purchased them, but now the carbon finish has completely deteriorated and they quickly denied my legitimate warranty claim. I have several Bikes and my main squeeze has Shimano Durace wheels on it which I have done the exact same maintenance and cleaning on(I always use a microfiber towel and plain water to clean the wheels) and they look exactly the same as they did the day I bought them. Really disappointed with Reynolds on this since I am a Bike shop owner who sells Pivot mountain bikes and have never seen this happen on any of the Reynolds wheels that come OEM. I will be moving onto a different brand who actually stands behind their product. When you read the fine print on Reynolds warranty. It is not a lifetime warranty by any stretch.
I just upgraded to my BLACKLABEL 60 PRO Wheels at love them! They're stiff, sturdy, and handle great. I am a Masters Racer and recommend these wheels to anyone. The personnel at Hayes are the best!
