I got these as a second wheelset for my gravel bike mostly to be able to use wider tires on VT class four roads, but now mostly use these instead of the Zipp FC 700cs that came with my bike; these are shockingly light, can bomb down rutted out loose/coarse roads confidently, and on super hilly gravel routes where I’m averaging 13 mph or less there’s very little noticeable speed difference. I really only use the zipps for racing on fairly smooth courses.
