Finally got Hayes Dominions, extremely easy on the hands, virtually no hand/arm fatigue from all day riding at the park. Easy bleed, consistent breaking, finally found "my" brakes, don't need anything else...maybe the purple ones
Recd. as advertised. Came with a new spring clip as well. They bedded in very easily. Would definitely buy these again.
Great product. They come complete ready to easily install. They come with the spring fyi.
My Decoy Core 4 came with Dominion A4 brakes. On the first ride I overheated them and warped the rotor. (Crazy steep fast hill). I changed to the semi-metallic pads. They run cooler but glaze and then are loud when you use them until the pads heat up. Power and modulation are great.
The pads are good, and they come with a new retention bolt, which I needed. But, strangely, they didn't come with a new spring, which I also needed, so that was disappointing.
