leaving this comment so others don't make the same mistake. We installed them on an ebike, which fell over (with rider on) on a grassy surface and they simply cracked/snapped at the stem. This was their 3rd ride in. Hayes support simply said it was our fault and I should not have assumed they were strong enough for an ebike. $150 down the drain and a disapointed customer. hoping others don't learn the same way.
Bar came in lighter than advertised at 155g but the best part it is long enough that I am trimming it down until the perfect length! Very compliant! Highly recommended!
