I have 2 tubular Assault wheelsets for racing CX that were originally quick release. These let me carry over to my new thru axle frame without having to upgrade wheels. Keeps me happy and my wallet a touch less thin. I doubt some other wheels were as future proof as the 2014-2016 Reynolds - great forward thinking for solid race wheels.
parts came in very quickly, very nicely made pieces. I screwed up and ordered the wrong parts, I have a later year model wheelset. Now I need to wait a few weeks til the proper caps are in stock. I have had great luck with all of Reynolds products over the years. Can't wait to try these wheels out!!
